Sarah has been a 1:1 client for over a year, she went from 181. to 143 with consistent coaching check ins, following the macronutrients provided by Melissa, and adding in workouts 5x a week. Sarah is a mom, a full time worker, and struggled with limiting belief's that she could never progress in running, lifting, and in weight loss. Working with Melissa for 12 weeks she realized she needed more time and had more goals that she wanted to accomplish with a coach by her side. Brooke came to Melissa wanting a full lifestyle change in her busy life, after a few months of ups and downs Brooke fiercely as she says committed to her deficit, prioritized protein, and challenged herself in all her workouts. She has lost over 30 lbs and continues to progress in more than just physical health, but mental as well. Brooke is the perfect depiction of life gets tough, but you can get through it, and the more you focus on you, the better you'll be able to get through it.
Victoria has been a 1:1 client for over a year and is going into her second year of coaching. She is a mom to a toddler, a teacher, and an incredible wife and friend. Victoria has gone through a lot these last few years and has worked through mindset shifts with Melissa. Many times when clients come into coaching for weight loss they have to realize in order for weight loss to occur they have to work through mental blocks that have been holding them back. Victoria has broken through many behavioral patterns and continues to show up day to day shocking herself and Melissa. She has truly shown those around her what its like to make your health non negotiable.
Completing both 8 week & 12week programs has been the best investment I did on myself. I loved the workouts, some were more difficult than others but it all depends on your strengths and weaknesses. Im very bad at abs so those were difficult for me. I like the amount of workouts with weights and the time spent for cardio when you do a whole workout you spend the right amount of time at the gym. the amount of sets and reps are pretty good throughout the program specially since you build up to everything. I did enjoy some things on one program more than the other but that personal opinion. For example 8week program had pictures that you could go back and forth from after each day, I LOVED THAT. I also love the reps being changed from like 15/12/10/8 instead of 4sets of 10. Overall for me it has changed many of my habits just by doing the program I make sure to STRETCH before and after I never knew how important it was not to skip either until after doing the programs. Having a warm up is a also important to set the mood for your workout. Consistency week after week is important to see results. I do love it all! 100% recommend it. -Carmen .
I did your 12 week and 8 week program and they were absolute PERFECTION! I love that you have pictures of EVERY exercise so no one has to guess what your talking about or do it wrong! The 6 week at home program was exactly what I needed! As someone who knew little to nothing about exercise and has struggled off and on the majority of my adult life with my weight and fitness level, I needed something simple and self explanatory. Melissa’s six week program is that and so much more. Do not mistake that for easy though! Even at home, with just my body and exercise bands her program ensured I was challenged and I could feel myself getting stronger and my stamina increased so much. Besides have pictures to easily reference what a movement looked like, she is so easy to contact and always so willing to answer any questions or concerns I had. Melissa is a beautiful and kind person who truly wants to help everyone be the best version of themselves, whatever that may look like for them. I cannot sing her praises more or rave about her programs enough. 10/10!!
Buying Melissa’s 8 week program was one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself! Her weekly check ins with me helped to keep me motivated and helped me to push myself to go to the gym even on the days I didn’t want to. I would recommend buying a program from her to everyone because the progress I have seen in myself physically is amazing, but also emotionally and mentally! Everyone needs a coach like her! I’m so grateful I took the leap and did this for myself!
I chose to do Day One's eight week program as I was looking for some extra help to get back into working out after I had my baby. I was almost three months post-partum when I started the program, but had only started working out regularly again a month before due to having a c-section. This program was life-changing and very eye opening. I really enjoyed working with Melissa as I felt she was always very approachable, and knowledgeable about fitness and nutrition. As a former college athlete I've always had biases about how I'm supposed to train and fuel my body and Melissa helped me break down beliefs and opened up a whole new way to workout that fits my current lifestyle.
The first thing I learned is, it's okay to ask for help! Being a former athlete I thought I knew everything about how to workout and lift. When I first graduated I just focused soley on cardio. I was naturally muscular and was literally running away from being that bulky girl at the gym. I wanted to be lean, not strong so I was running miles. However I was very much neglecting my nutrition and definitely not fueling my body properly. Protein was bad and I pretty much ran so I could eat. (My thinking was definitely backwards).
Melissa really helped me not only refocus how I viewed my body, but also be more cautious and aware of what I was putting into it. By following her 8 week workout plan and sticking to a caloric deficit, my goal was to lose 10 pounds, and I was able to lose 8. Although I didn't hit my goal weight, I can honestly say I gained so much more than just weight loss. I regained my strength from pregnancy. I was able to focus more on fueling my body with nutritious and protein based foods. I've become more lean but more importantly I've gained the confidence and knowledge about how to take care of my physical health which has completely changed my mindset as a person as a mom. I now know I can do hard things! This is only the beginning and I plan on taking on what I have learned and keep improving to create a better lifestyle for myself and my family! I am extremely grateful for Melissa and this program! I hope to work with her again in the future :)
